Jubilee Co-op is a new program at St. John's that seeks to foster community around prayer, study, and service. In Scripture, "Jubilee" symbolizes a year of liberty, plenty, and reliance on God. Thus, as we meet growing in relationships with each other and with God, we will learn to cooperate with God's grace and providential care of the world. The Jubilee Co-op offering will consist of a weeknight worship service, followed by fellowship, and a class during Advent. A light meal of soups, salad, and bread will be provided pot-luck style. A sign-up sheet can be found in the Narthex/Welcome Center.
5:30 PM: A Service of Holy Communion followed by
"Advent and Apocalypse" in Lund Hall
