8:30 - 1 PM Advent Quiet Day
Saturday, December 09, 2023, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
A “Quiet Day” forms an opportunity to retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to reflect upon God and our own lives. On December 9, Father Jonathan, with guest clergy, will lead a time of spiritual reflection, worship, and prayer. Our theme will reflect the traditional theme of Advent, which is the Four Last Things. Thus, we will reflect on God’s apocalyptic breaking into the world in Jesus Christ to reveal what is true about us and the life of God. The purpose of our Quiet Day is to prepare for the season of Advent, which itself prepares us for the celebration of Christmas.
