Who we are at St. John's Episcopal Church
Welcome to St. John's Episcopal Church in Naperville, Illinois. No matter what your denomination or background, whether you are exploring Christianity for the first time or are an experienced churchgoer, we welcome you. Come join us for worship, meet with our members and explore the programs St. John's has to offer.
Our Vision
We seek to lead our lives as disciples of Christ, growing and maturing in our faith and sharing that faith with others.
Our Heritage
St. John's was organized as a parish in 1850, the first Episcopal parish in DuPage County. We are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. Our original building was given to the Naperville Heritage Society, who restored it as the centerpiece of Naper Settlement, where it is now known as Century Memorial Chapel . The first service in our present building was on August 20, 1972.
