We meet every other month on the first Wednesday and Thursday of the month: We cook on Wednesday here at St. John's and serve on Thursday at Trinity, Aurora. Our months to serve are: February, April, June, August, October and December
Trinity Episcopal Church in Aurora works with area Episcopal churches to provide food and volunteers for a weekly hot lunch program serving those in need. St. John's serves 6 times a year. We start preparing the meal on Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m. in our kitchen. On Thursday morning we travel to Trinity to serve the meal. We are always looking for food donations, cooking help and cheerful servers.
Food donation needs are posted on the bulletin board in the Welcome Center as well as sign up sheets for volunteering. Watch for information in the E-News.
